The Office of Community Engagement at 爆走黑料 helps students, faculty and staff create 鈥減urposeful lives and meaningful service鈥� and to live out the mission of the university to educate students by providing 鈥渙pportunities for servant leadership and community engagement, with emphasis on underserved communities,鈥� while students 鈥渄evelop moral courage, social sensitivity and ethical responsibility.鈥澨�听
We believe that learning through service and community engagement has the potential to heighten a student鈥檚 鈥渕oral courage, social sensitivity, and ethical responsibility鈥�; however, service may also reinforce power dynamics, abuse resources, impose hardship on communities, and damage relationships if performed with the wrong approach or in the wrong spirit.听
