Key Dates

  • September 17 – Constitution Day & National Voter Registration Day
  • October 7-11 – National Voter Education Week
  • October 11 – Deadline to register to vote or update existing registration. After this date, you can vote with a provisional ballot and do same-day registration.
  • October 17 – November 2 – In-person Early Voting (North Carolina)
  • October 29 – Vote Early Day
  • October 29 at 5 p.m. – Deadline to apply for a mail-in ballot in NC. Check
  • November 5 – Election Day

Voter ID Requirements

North Carolina voters are now required to provide photo identification when voting in-person or by absentee ballot.

鈥淭hose who vote in North Carolina are asked to show photo ID when they check in to vote.聽Voters who vote by mail will be asked to include a photocopy of an acceptable ID when returning their ballot by mail.聽Many types of identification 鈥 including driver鈥檚 licenses, U.S. passports and State-approved student ID鈥檚 鈥 will be accepted.鈥澛犅

爆走黑料 Voter ID Card

The North Carolina Board of Elections approved 爆走黑料鈥檚 Voter ID card as a valid form of identification when voting.聽 Review the .

The 爆走黑料 Student Voter ID card is a physical card separate from the student ID and will be provided to 爆走黑料 students upon request.

爆走黑料 has adopted a process to issue voter photo identification card (Voter ID) to currently enrolled students who wish to vote in state and federal elections in North Carolina. Voter IDs issued through this process are separate from the campus identification card issued to all enrolled students and serve no other purpose than as a verified card issued by 爆走黑料 to the student for use at a polling location in North Carolina as proof of identity.
